PayPal lets me know right away whenever money comes in or goes out. Instant. I haven’t missed an alert so far, that’s super helpful. Nice.

I use PayPal often just because so many online stores already accept it, and it makes checking out a lot faster. I like not having to enter my card details on every random site, especially when I’m buying something quick and don’t want to think too much about... well, all that.

I’m giving it 4 stars because every now and then a smaller shop won’t take it, or the payment screen takes longer than it should. Not a huge problem, just a little annoying when you’re expecting it to be simple. Overall though, it works fine for most of the places I buy from...

I was adding PayPal checkout to a small app I’ve been working on, i expected it to turn into one of those “this will only take an hour” situations that somehow eats the whole week. But it was actually smooth. I followed the docs, set things up in the sandbox, and most of it just worked the way it was supposed to. The only part that slowed me down was wrapping my head around webhooks, but even that wasn’t too painful once I dug in a bit. By the end of the day, I had the checkout flow running, which felt like a win. Overall, a much better developer setup experience than I was preparing for

I was kind of in a rush when I had to verify my account, but thankfully it was straightforward. I uploaded the documents they asked for, waited a little bit, and it got approved without any weird problems.

I had a payment get put on hold and I was annoyed at first, like when you’re waiting on a refund, or a paycheck, or even just someone paying you back for dinner and it feels like it’s taking forever. I added the tracking info like it asked, kind of like when you upload a receipt, confirm a delivery, or fill out one of those extra verification steps, and after that it cleared quicker than I thought it would. It wasn’t totally perfect, and I wouldn’t say I loved the process, but it worked. The money came through fine in the end, so no real complaints.

I mostly use paypal for online payments and a few subscriptions, and it’s been easy to deal with. I like being able to see my active payments in one spot without having to search around too much.
I cancelled a yearly app renewal last week, and it only took about a minute. Nothing confusing or annoying, it just worked. I’m happy with it...

PayPal works fine most of the time, but wow, the account limitations can get really annoying fast. My account got limited, and it took way longer than I had patience for to get it sorted out. Uploading the documents was simple enough, but sitting around waiting while my money was stuck there was frustrating. Support did eventually reply, but not exactly quickly. It’s still useful, but they seriously need to handle these limits faster.

I use paypal Credit and the pay later option often. My brain basically does the quick shortcut of, “Can I split this up without it feeling painful?” and if the answer is yes, it makes bigger purchases feel way less stressful. Checkout is fast too, which is probably why I keep using it. So far, I haven’t really had any issues with it...
